When my husband and I found out we were having another little girl in the same season that we had our firstborn, we were so excited! I remember saying to him how much money we would say because we have pretty much everything up to age two! Minus a dual stroller and some Little items like gripe water.
When getting all of the clothes out from the attic and sorting out sizes, I quickly discovered stains on certain onesies. Some of my favorite PJs that were all sealed in clothing bags and then placed in rubber containers had yellow ugly stains!
I quickly though oh Sh*t. I’m going to have to toss like half of our stash. Doing some research I found out that no matter how you store certain baby items…unfortunately, the stains are inevitable.
I quickly though oh Sh*t. I’m going to have to toss like half of our stash. Doing some research I found out that no matter how you store certain baby items…unfortunately, the stains are inevitable. I tried everything under the sun and turned to my best source of inspiration, Pinterest! nothing would work. until I gave up on being all-natural and just tried a tactic that I am sure other moms knew all about! OxiClean!
Like woahhh. so here’s the rundown. you take a pot of boiling water. Once it’s nice and hot that’s when I set mine in the sink. I add the clothes that have the stains on them and then I add a scoop of OxiClean! sometimes it will fizz over. That is why I set it in the sink prior. If the stains are really bad then you would repeat the process but I haven’t had to do that.
When the clothes have set in the sink for 10/15 mins, I then dump the entire pot hot water and all into the washer. I do a big batch of all of the clothes and our cloth diapers. Wash them on warm water and BAM!
Items you’ll need

- Stained Baby Items
I hope this works for you like it did me!
